One of the perks in playing golf in the city is the view. The sun is up but it's a cool, windy day. The sky is blue with patches of clouds that made looking up the sky awesome.

This was taken in one of the golf courses in the Metro, the Veterans Golf Club. The golf course is near two malls owned by the Ayala's and the Sy's. I was at the 16th hole when I took this shot. Never mind the game... Just enjoy the view! :)

A wonderful sight I tell you so;
As I gape to the Sun going low;
In sunrise, sunset, e’er a good show;
Believe me, the Sun is always aglow!

The orb of gold upon the sky;

How I wish that I could fly;

If in unison please say ‘Aye';
As the Sun bids its goodbye!

The roads I traveled with trees,
They number in dozens not in threes,
Rain or shine they are good to see,
Trees everywhere that's how it should be!

The row of trees I see in this land,
I took a shot with an outstretched hand,
Trees growing in mud, dirt, or sand,
Intrusion of men they all have withstand!

What is it in a tree that I see,
Do you also see it or is it just me,
A tree can't walk but it is totally free,
Not binded by gold no need for a degree!

Bear with me as I make a demand,
Or may I say just a helping hand,
You, me, and we let's all make a stand,
Plant trees to cover anew our land!

The scene was magnificent... But mixed with an eerie color that seems to forebode horror!

It was about 6PM and I was at the Guadalupe Bridge in the City of Makati on my way home.

As the Sun was setting on the West, I saw the moon rising near the East. The reddish aura of the setting Sun made an eerie "blood red" color from where the moon was rising...

It’s officially summer as far as the sunset in the Philippines is concerned. The photos were taken at exactly the same time in almost the same location. Notice that the sun is now setting on the right side of the road and is still up in the horizon compared to the sunset last month (early February).

The photo with the reddish sunset was taken last Feb 11, 2015 while the photo with the yellowish sunset was taken today, March 2, 2015.

Superstitious people, specially those in the West, believe that black cats bring bad luck and are spawns of the devil. They usually associate black cats with witches and form-changing spirits that suck the life out of people. During the dark ages, people killed black cats almost to the point of extinction.

So why are the black cats treated in such a manner?

In ancient Egypt, black cats were treated in high esteem and killing this creature during those times was considered a crime. However, the medieval Europe changed the black cat's status into something more sinister and evil brought about by the frenzied witch hunts in those times. Many people started to believe that witches can transform into black cats, being the devil's cohorts. In any case, just a sight of a black cat brought shivers to the spine during those days.

Today, with superstitions brought about by the frenzy of religiosity starting to wane, more and more people have come to realize that black cats are just ordinary animals with a black fur. Some people I know even took them as pets... And so far, I have not received any news about these creatures turning into witches or my friends experiencing  bad luck.

Imagine a root of a tree penetrating a wall of hollow blocks reinforced with cement..  A drop of water cracking a stone... And a malestrom of rain and wind annihilating a home!

Can a man stand against the forces of nature?

I can't really differentiate a dove from a pigeon... Specially if the bird is white in color.

Doves typically have smaller bodies and bigger tails than pigeons. But there is an exception: the domestic pigeon, which is often called a rock dove and also known as the "dove of peace." Pigeons and doves belong to the same family, Columbidae, and have many similar features."

The Quezon Memorial Monument, where the remains of the former President Manuel Quezon lies, is situated inside a vast circle of land called the "Quezon Memorial Circle". The mountain range behind it is actually the "Sierra Madre" where Antipolo is located on its slope.

More often than not, clouds form into something else which our brains interpret as a familiar object or even for a face.

In this photo, the cloud seem to look like an old sea-hag or a witch... With a pointed nose and a protruding chin!

It was almost a perfect shot of the setting Sun on the road... But the posts, cables, and wirings seem to have ruined it!
